Broadband Development Group (BDG) announced Thursday that it has expanded its HyperLeap internet service outside central Arkansas, to the recently opening McKinney & Olive Building in uptown Dallas.
Previously, the "no waiting, no modem and no contract" service was available to 13 commercial and residential properties in Little Rock and North Little Rock, according to a news release.
In May, BDG announced that it had joined RasorNET, an Arkansas-based independent trade group of five regional carriers. CEO Lou McAlister said then that being a member of RasorNET would help the company meet its goal of expanding not only in Arkansas but also into the national market.
The 536,000-SF office and retail building in Dallas is operated by Crescent Real Estate Holdings LLC. The firm heard about Hyperleap at the Building Owners and Managers Association Southwest Region Conference & Expo this year.
"It's always been a core facet of our business to provide customers with reliability, quality, fast broadband speed and affordability," McAlister said in the release. "We're honored that Crescent chose HyperLeap in its newest premier property and are thrilled for our service to continue gaining notoriety outside of our immediate geographic region."
"Their commitment to quality and reliability is best of breed and we're pleased to be the first in the Dallas metroplex to have HyperLeap available in one of our properties," Angelique Wade, senior property manager at Crescent Real Estate Equities LLC, said in the release.
