The University of Central Arkansas, the Conductor and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ BioVentures have teamed up this week to host a Health Sciences Entrepreneurship Boot Camp that ends Friday with a demo day and award presentation.
The free boot camp is being held in McCastlain Hall on the UCA campus in Conway.
Students with any major who will be juniors or seniors in the fall and graduate-level students enrolled in a health sciences program were eligible to apply, but several sessions are also open to the public.

The Conductor is a public-private initiative that aims to drive entrepreneurship and innovation, and UCA has contracted with Startup Junkie of Fayetteville to run the initiative's programming through 2019. The Central Arkansas Venture Team, a group of executive consultants, startup founders, coaches, local leaders and technology experts, is also involved with the Conductor.
